NEWSTEAD COLLECTION. Socketed weapon-head of iron, possibly of a pilum; head triangular in section with 3 barbs, point awanting; extreme length 5 3/4", of which the socket measures 2 3/4". HMcC note, 1998-99: Updated from SCRAN full data set.
