Original description

An enamelled bronze disc, 1.2 ins (30 mm) in diameter. Possibly a brooch. The central enamelled area has a cross motif composed of five panels with a chequer-board pattern in light and dark blue squares; the area between the arms of the cross filled with yellow enamel and the cross and whole enamelled area emphasised with thin line of turquoise enamel. Found in the churchyard, Cradmond, Midlothian. Anonymous note: 'Possibly' and 'brooch' deleted; 'd' in 'Cradmond' deleted. RMS note: Was FT 98 [taken from Continuation Catalogue].
