Original description

E.I.A. [Early Iron Age] Ornaments, etc. Bronze zoomorphic penannular brooch Fowler's type F; hoop 3.2" diam, pin now 3.2" long, its end missing. Found E of North Berwick, East Lothian. [name redacted] note, 5 January 2011 - PSAS 106 ((1974-5) gives more precise location details. The brooch was found in 1971 on the foreshore at Rhodes Links, east of North Berwick, in a rock pool below high tide mark at NT 5772 8562. It had presumably eroded from the cliffs behind the beach.
