Original description

COLLECTIONS FROM SEPULCHRAL DEPOSITS: From Sandmill Farm, Stranraer, Wigtownshire. Cinerary Urn, overhanging rim and concave neck, made of reddish-coloured clay. Originally about 17" in height. Ex. diam. of mouth is 12 1/2", below is collar 4 1/2" deep.
