Original description

FOOD VESSELS: Food vessel with slightly concave neck and gentle shoulder; rim diam. 4.7", height 4.5"; decorated with string impressions, a row of chevrons on neck, wide lattice on body. Cuninghar, Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire. Loan Description [Q.L.1937.1 & .2] - [One of] Two urns found at Tillicoultry, Clackmannan. Proc 1894-5 195 & 1913-14 337. Loan Description [Q.UNNUMBERED LOAN 4] - Urn of food-vessel type 4 1/2" high by 4 3/10" broad at mouth - decorated with oblique impressions of a twisted cord - found in a cist near Tillicoultry. (See Proc. XLVIII, p. 337).
