Original description

FOOD-VESSELS: Foodvessel, fine brown outer surface, friable black core with large grits, concave collar below rim 1.5" deep, base lacks outer surface; decorated with cord impressions, slanting lines between horizontal lines on rim bevel, groups of horizontal and vertical lines on collar, horizontal lines on shoulder and half way down walls, vertical lines below; one side damaged. Found in small cist at Blackness, W. Lothian.
