Original description

PERSONAL ORNAMENTS, &C. Small fragments, clippings, etc. Norrie's Law, near Largo, Fifeshire. [MoS description] Melting rocks, forging metal. Moving metal, recycling metal. Recycling Roman silver. (11) Chopped up silver, Norrie's Law. 500 - 700 AD. Alice Blackwell 21.05.2015, note: Fragment of undecorated hacksilver with a slightly curved profile (now largely flattened), possibly from the body of a bangle. Parts of two original edges define the width. The length is defined by one bent and uneven end. The other is shortened by the missing corner of the fragment; these edges look straight but appear broken rather than cut under magnification.
