Original description

[1st description] - COLLECTIONS FROM HISTORICAL SITES. From Cubbie Roo's Castle, Orkney. Brass Jetton, diam. 5/8". - [2nd description, N. Holmes, 31/1/95] - Silver or billon coin (?), date and origin unknown. This was previously described in the scroll register as a brass jetton. - [3rd description, N. Holmes, 4/8/95] - A Norwegian silver penny of Magnus Eriksson, dating from c. 1320 - 1340, type as Ahlstrom et al 43/1. The reverse design is intended to represent a letter O.
