Original description

Urquhart Castle. [One of] Collection of relics found during the restoration of the Castle by H.M. Office of Works - see Register for 1923 pp.53-63 and Loan Register 1923. 5-140. PSAS 112, 1982, 465-476. End of strap hinge [or, also listed at HY 89], Barrel Padlock-key. LMMC type C bit without the common two projections, the shank is broken. DC note, October 1992: hasp with loop at one end and pierced hook at the other with fragment of wood attached. Padlock key is really HY 89 a. It is only pencilled in on my copy of the catalogue. SD note, November 1999: Upgraded from PSAS.
