Original description

Ring brooch of brass, diam. 1.95" and width 0.35"; engraved decoration, front, a 6-pointed star, points decorated with a triquetra and other somewhat debased ornaments; the reverse is undecorated. Found 'on the narrow isthmus known locally as the 'Braighe', approx. 4/5 miles from Stornoway.
