Description and Sources
Metal detecting at three adjoining fields at Portmahomack recovered an assemblage of Medieval and later finds. The assemblage comprised brooches, brooch pins, buckles, belt mounts and fittings, pins, a finger rings, harness pendant, other copper alloy and lead alloy finds and pottery sherds. The assemblage was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 31/06) and allocated to Inverness Museum. See attatched TT report and catalogue of finds. <1> <2>
The assemblage is listed under Acc. No. 2007.022 in the Inverness Museum catalogue. <3>
