Original description
LATE IRON AGE ORNAMENTS. Plaster cast of a penannular bronze brooch, 2.9" across central panel on ring with stone setting and coarse interlace, terminals (damaged) with stone setting and three projecting trefoils, triangular decorated pin-head but pin missing. The original from Clachan, Loch Fyne, Argyll. Anonymous note: 'at Inverary Castle' added after 'Argyll'.
