Description and Sources
Within Inverness Museum's archive files are two letter of correspondance from 1954 regarding the donation of two stone axeheads and several flint chips to Inverness Museum. These are described as having been found close together in a cache by the donor's father on the side of the Creag na Fhitich while he was looking for stone suitable for building. There is a black and white photograph of this group of objects also. The axeheads are listed under Acc. Nos. 1954.30 and 1954.31. <1> <2>
